SINGING CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS
Singing has the amazing power to unleash our artistic potential as an individual and express ourselves to the full as well as widen our musical horizons. Our Singing classes are designed to suit each individual and their various vocal interests - from pop, gospel and jazz to classical and opera. Regardless of whether you are an absolute beginner or already a proficient performer, there is a lot for you to learn on our Singing Courses - from breathing basics and posture to developing your vocal technique and voice. In addition to the one-to-one tuition in classes of maximum two students you are offered one free attendance to Masterclasses and Workshops as well as participation in Group Tutorials and Concerts!
Singing is wonderful experience to study alone or in combination with another instrument and will develop your listening, rhythmic, vocal, diction and performing skills as well as will help you improve your posture, confidence and give you an insight into how your own body works.
Choir/ Group Singing
From September 2008 FMA will offer this new course for students with some experience in singing. The Choir/ Group Singing will be divided in adults and children. The Choir will have a performance at least twice per term, in the school in The Performance Classes and in external concerts. Wide range of repertoire will be covered - gospel, classical and opera, popular, musical, etc. The conductor and leader of the adult Choir is Stanislava Vajarova and of the Children's Vocal ensemble Myrto Loulaki.

Teacher's Profiles
Soprano Stanislava Pittas is an experienced vocal tutor and workshop leader and Co-Director of First Musical Academy. Her valuable expertise in different styles and ages allows her to to bring out the best in her students thus achieving excellent results and opening up their vocal potential. Stanislava uses a series of enjoyable exercises for establishing and improving of the vocal and breathing technique as well as body work. She has trained extensively as a teacher with acclaimed pedagogues at Music Leader and Vocal Nosh. She believes singing is for everyone!
Stanislava is an innovative musician - she has done a research on Visual Artistic Stimuli in Composition and Performance presented in workshops, classes and Symposiums in Bonn and in State Musical Academy, Sofia. Recently she did a series of highly acclaimed Singing Workshops for the opening of Grove Theatre, Dunstable.
Stanislava is a sought after performer. She has Master's Degree in Performance from Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London and has also received training in Chigiana Academy, Italy and Sofia Musical Academy, Bulgaria with full scholarships. She has appeared in opera and musical stages and venues all over the world among which St John Smith's Square, Osaka Grand Hall, Musical Theatre Sofia and Royal Festival Hall. Recent highlights include her recital with Christopher Pittas Colours of Music at International Festival Sofia Music Weeks broadcast on National TV and a Recording for Bulgarian National Radio.
